After very quick despatch the package arrived! I am very pleasantly surprised by the obvious care and attention to detail by Last Manner. The lighters came in a beautiful, quality Last Manner box, with a business card in a tiny envelope, spare flints etc for the lighters in a nice cloth bag. It all breathes care and attention to detail and quality. It’s like receiving a loving gift. The quick responses and the truly amazing support in dealing with the foibles of international shipping couriers shown by you have truly amazed me and pleasantly surprised me. Thank you very, very much indeed.
Then the lighters… They come in beautiful boxes, yet again carefully wrapped in presentation paper by Last Manner. I could not decide between the Field L and the Field S+ and since these are totally insane purchases for a lighter in any event, I opted for both. And I am glad I did because I still cannot really decide which one I like best. Lighters and the boxes they come in are wonderful and – like Last Manner- breathe attention to detail and uncompromising quality. The way the threads feel when you unscrew something, the whole look and finish… precise quality. In a time of expendable stuff these things are such a relief and such a total joy for people who like quality. Let’s see how they keep up and age but I have every confidence. The Field L looks and feels so incredibly precise that it's almost boring when compared to the Field S+, until you look at it. Just wow. Same for the Field S+maybe even more so. The Field S+ is less restrained and more elaborate and because of the **** locking collar takes a bit more attention to operate. Once I had cleaned the flintwheel of a bit of lubricant I had spilled when caressing the o-rings and hinge (stupid..) it's a joy to use. can't decide which I like better really.
The Lighters and Last Manner are of the very best. The only room for improvement I see is that Last Manners could maybe package/wrap its beautiful box with an extra layer as the stickers and tapes and such attached by the courier have now ruined the outside, which probably was as neat as the inside, which I regret. For the Field L, not that it matters, the manual is in Japanese only. All in all thoroughly enjoyable products and thoroughly enjoyable seller. Highly recommended! Thanks team.

I bought my first Tokyo Pipe Co. lighter (a Douglas Field L) from Gladfellow a little over a year ago. I used it every day. Loved the design, appreciated the functionality, but I wanted a little bit more out of my EDC lighter. While the L was functional for daily use, the survivalist in me felt I still needed to keep a bic on me just in case the fuel evaporated or flint failed. Enter the S+ colab with Last Manner. Not only is this among the most aesthetically pleasing and tactilely satisfying lighters I have ever held, it has an air tight reserve fuel reservoir and and houses a backup flint without adding noticeable bulk. It is now, without a doubt, the lighter I will carry for the rest of my life. I am sure the standard S+ would have served my needs, but the collaboration with Last Manner has resulted in a work of art that compromising nothing in the way of functionality.
First of all, Im very impressed with the presentation The Last Manner puts together. Ive ordered one of these directly from TT and the way this was packaged and sent to me was on a higher level. Pretty kuch gift wrapped to me. So thanks for that, I will definitely order more stuff from you guys. The Anso is amazing, this is my second one. The weight of the Brass is awesome. Cant wait to see how this will patina over time. Super impressed overall.
