These beautiful engravings were published by Martin and Johnson in New York between 1855 and 1856, each capturing a scene from the world of Shakespeare.

Many show noticeable signs of age and condition wear, but that patina is part of their appeal. The foxing, toning, and softened paper give each print a warm, timeworn character that feels impossible to reproduce.

A thoughtful gift for Shakespeare lovers, antique print collectors, or anyone looking to add literary vintage artwork to a study, library, office, or gallery wall.

Dimensions: Approximately 8 1/4" x 10 3/4"

Condition: The Shakespeare engravings are in AS-IS condition.  Most have visible discoloration and some have tears around the edges of the paper. Please look closely at the images to assess condition or feel free to email us for more photos.

Please note: due to the fragile nature of vintage art and vintage items, the listings in the Bygone Goods section of the store are FINAL SALE and not refundable.

Bygone Goods

Bygone Goods is our designation for vintage objects — found pieces with history, character, and soul. Every piece is carefully curated; if it doesn't meet our standards for quality and uniqueness, it doesn't make the cut. These aren't relics. They're survivors, chosen for people who appreciate true craftsmanship and lasting quality. When they're gone, they're gone.
