Kiribi Lighter Flints (20 Flints)

Sale price$15.00

A twenty-pack of Kiribi replacement flints, made to keep your favorite Kiribi lighters sparking reliably and ready for use.

Out of stock

A fine lighter deserves a fine flint, and twenty of them should see you through a long while.

Made in Japan by Tsubota Pearl, the maker behind Kiribi, these are the replacement flints made for the Kabuto and Kenshi. Standard-size flints will fit many lighters, but quality varies widely; a soft or gritty flint sparks unevenly and wears the striker wheel faster. These give a clean, consistent strike, and at twenty to a case, you won't be shopping for flints again anytime soon.

Small, practical, and easy to store, they're an essential companion for any Kiribi or Tsubota Pearl owner.

Kiribi

Kiribi takes its name from an ancient Japanese ritual — casting sparks upon a traveler's back to impart fortune and ward off evil. The practice traces back to the 8th century legend of Prince Yamatotakeru, whose aunt gifted him a firestone and striker that saved his life on the road. In time, that same simple kit became the tool Japanese countryfolk used to light their pipes — and the inspiration for the Kiribi line of precision butane lighters, created by Japanese lighter maker Tsubota Pearl.
