This beautifully preserved Ronson Adonis lighter, manufactured in Newark, New Jersey, is a standout example of mid-century American design with a feminine touch.

The front panel features hand-applied purple floral detailing over a glossy black enamel background, framed by a subtle silver outline and a blank shield perfect for optional personalization.

The underside is clearly stamped:

“Ronson Adonis – Newark, N.J. – U.S. Pat. 2,481,195”

Produced in the 1960s, the Adonis model was celebrated for its slim, elegant shape and fluid-based ignition. This particular piece is a rare floral variant, typically found in plainer finishes—making it highly collectible, especially in this condition.

This piece originates from an inherited collection of unsold retail inventory.

Dimensions: ~1.6" x 2" x .25"

Sold as-is. FINAL SALE.

Bygone Goods

Bygone Goods is our designation for vintage objects — found pieces with history, character, and soul. Every piece is carefully curated; if it doesn't meet our standards for quality and uniqueness, it doesn't make the cut. These aren't relics. They're survivors, chosen for people who appreciate true craftsmanship and lasting quality. When they're gone, they're gone.
