Gladfellow Is Now Last Manner: Our Rebrand Story

|

Time to read 6 min

After three years of growth, community support, and hard-earned lessons, Gladfellow is entering a new chapter.

What began as a simple idea—championing exceptional craftsmanship and thoughtful service—has grown into something that deserves a name with greater intention, weight, and room to evolve.

And so as of today, Gladfellow is now Last Manner

While our name has changed, our values will not: a continued commitment to quality, human-led customer service, and objects worth owning.

This post explains why we’re making the change, what it means, and what will remain the same.

Gladfellow has officially rebranded as Last Manner, marking a new chapter for our growing brand

While the name has changed, our ownership, values, and commitment to quality remain exactly the same

This transition allows us to move forward with a stronger identity while continuing to serve our community with thoughtfully curated goods

Gladfellow Is Now Last Manner

Gladfellow is now Last Manner.

This change marks an important new chapter for our brand — but it doesn’t change who we are or how we operate. Same ownership. Same team. Same commitment to thoughtfully curated goods rooted in craftsmanship, quality, and longevity.

The decision to rebrand has been years in the making. As we’ve grown, it became clear that the name Gladfellow no longer fully reflected our philosophy or the direction of the business. (More on that in a moment.)

Rest assured, if you’ve shopped with us before, nothing about your experience will change — only the name on the door.

Why We Changed Our Name

So, why now?

Gladfellow began as a small, independent project rooted in a simple idea: that well-made objects still matter. Over time, that idea grew into something larger — a community of customers who care deeply about craftsmanship, longevity, and the human stories behind the things they own.

As the business evolved, so did our understanding of what the brand represented. The name Gladfellow served us well in the early days, but it no longer fully expressed the values at the heart of our work. We wanted a name that carried more weight — one that reflected intention, stewardship, and a commitment to objects made slowly and thoughtfully.

Last Manner represents that philosophy. It speaks to choosing quality over convenience, repair over replacement, and meaning over mass production. It’s a deliberate stance in a fast-moving world — and a clearer expression of who we’ve become.

This isn’t a reinvention. It’s a clarification.

What Last Manner Represents

Last Manner is built on a belief in human craftsmanship — in care over shortcuts, discipline over convenience, and intention over excess.

We believe beauty comes from patience, from skill honed over time, and from the quiet details that only human hands can create. It’s why we seek out makers who work slowly and thoughtfully, and why we favor objects designed to last rather than be replaced.

Last Manner isn’t about trends or volume. It’s about respect — for the people who make the goods we carry, for the traditions that shaped them, and for the customers who choose quality over immediacy.

Manners, to us, are not rules. They’re a way of being. A commitment to doing things properly. With care. With detail. With intention.

We reject the disposable. We say no to automation without soul. And we believe that meaningful objects carry the stories of the people behind them.

Last Manner exists to honor that work — and to carry it forward.

We carry the torch. Together.

What’s Staying the Same

While our name is changing, everything that matters most remains exactly the same.

Last Manner is still owned and operated by the same founder. We continue to curate and ship every order ourselves, with the same attention to detail and customer care you’ve come to expect. Our standards for quality, craftsmanship, and maker relationships have not changed — and neither has our commitment to thoughtful service.

Most importantly, our customer support remains entirely human. No chatbots. No outsourced scripts. When you reach out, you’ll always hear from a real person who knows the products, understands the business, and genuinely wants to help.

You’ll still find the same carefully selected goods, the same trusted brands and artisans, and the same focus on objects designed to last. Your account history, past orders, warranties, returns, and support all continue without interruption.

Simply put: while our name has changed, everything else — our values, our process, and our dedication to this community — remains firmly in place.

What’s Changing

Along with our new name comes a refreshed visual identity and a clearer sense of direction for the future.

You’ll begin to see Last Manner reflected across our website, packaging, emails, and social channels. While the look may evolve, our focus remains the same: thoughtfully curated goods rooted in craftsmanship and longevity.

Moving forward, we’ll also be introducing more of our own Last Manner–branded products alongside the makers we already carry. These pieces are being developed with the same care and attention to detail that guide everything we do — designed to complement our existing collection while staying true to our philosophy.

Beyond that, very little changes. Our product standards remain high, our relationships with independent makers continue, and our hands-on approach to fulfillment and customer service stays firmly in place.

This rebrand isn’t about becoming something different. It’s about expressing more clearly who we already are — and where we’re headed.

When the Transition Is Happening

The transition from Gladfellow to Last Manner will take place throughout February 2026 and into March of 2026.

During this time, you may notice updates across our website, emails, packaging, and social channels as we complete the rollout. Any in-progress orders, returns, warranties, and customer accounts will continue without disruption.

If you placed an order under Gladfellow, it will still be fulfilled exactly as expected — you’ll simply see Last Manner reflected in future communications.

Everything is being handled behind the scenes to ensure a smooth changeover, with no interruption to service.

A Note from the Founder

I’ve always had a deep appreciation for expert craftsmanship and the artisans behind it. In a world increasingly driven by speed and convenience, I believe we need to slow down — to be more thoughtful about what we buy, who we buy it from, and why.

I started this business in early 2023 with the goal of creating a deeper connection between people and the objects they choose to live with. A place that celebrates skilled makers and carries goods designed to last, not be replaced.

As the brand grew, it became clear that the name Gladfellow no longer fully reflected that mission. A name should carry weight. It should communicate intention.

Today, Gladfellow became Last Manner.

To me, Last Manner represents those of us who choose the analog over the disposable. As our culture accelerates toward a fully digital world, we move in the opposite direction — toward the human hand, the human mind, and the spirit behind meaningful craft. Behind every piece we carry and every service we provide, we will represent the Last Manner. And our torch will be the symbol of that shared responsibility between makers, customers, and ourselves.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Warm regards,

Jeff Galfer

Owner, Last Manner
